Here are some more cute pictures that we got over the weekend, nothing really going on during the week right now, just taking it easy at home and much as possible nursing my groin pull...

Sunday was equally as busy as Saturday, Kelly and I went out to an auction that our friend, John Tyson, had some things that he was trying to get rid of. It was a pretty interesting experience, you could get some really good, antique stuff for not a lot of money. Here are some pics of the auction house:


We didn't bid on much since we don't have a lot of money, but Kelly did manage to win 1 item, an autographed baseball, autographed by Hank Aaron!


We will have to visit the auction house more to see all the neat stuff that people are trying to get rid of, maybe we can find some more good deals...

This past Saturday was the Town of Cary's annual egg hunt at Bond Park. There was a pretty good turnout of the 3 and under age group even though I was expecting more. Noah seemed to have a lot of fun running around picking up eggs and staying away from the Easter Bunny. Here are some snapshots of the event:

With the weather nice, we tried to spend as much time as possible outside with the kids.
Friday was pretty nice, Noah got to have a good time in the backyard playing in a mud puddle that I made for him, he is such a little boy!...


Saturday, we went to Lake Lynn Park over in Raleigh with Noah, Ezra, and Noah's little girlfriend Morgan. It is a pretty nice greenway, that has decking that goes around much of the lake. We couldn't walk the whole thing since the kids were getting exhausted but it was a good time outside nonetheless.

Sunday was a little more chill, we just stayed around the house and hung out. Sat outside while Noah played and just took it easy. We did end up having dinner at Grandma's, which is always nice. Here are a few more cute pictures to get you through till the next post...

Up early on a beautiful Saturday morning, no noises in the house, just a cup of coffee and Craigslist on the iPhone. I may even go out to a couple yard sales...

Nothing much happening right now but I did want to post that we got our van back out of the shop over at Nissen Automotive. He replaced the timing belt, water pump, 3 engine mounts, various other belts and a couple other things. We are really happy with the professionalism and the honestly we received and now feel like the van is in tip top shape. If you need car work, that is the place to go!

It is a beautiful Friday here in Cary, NC, just waiting for the weekend to start and spend some time with the family as much outdoors as possible. I believe the high tomorrow is suppose to be around 80 degrees!

The current news this week, is that I went to the doctor for my check-up and he told me that I do have colitis and that I am to keep taking the steroid till May. He wants me to start a different pill too, but since my insurance sucks and there is no copay on medication, I can't afford the new pill right now, it is over $500 for the prescription! I wonder what the $500 dollars a month  I pay for insurance actually does? Oh well, what can you do about this jacked up U.S. health care system?...

We don't have anything planned for this super nice weekend ahead of us, we will just see where the wind blows us, I'm sure there will be some pictures to see on Monday so be sure to check back for more exciting news and cute pictures

We got ourselves a new family member with a little bit of the bonus that I got for working hard over the past year, nothing too shabby, just an older 15" iMac for the kitchen: keep recipes, listen to music, let Noah learn the wonderful world of Macs and even watch some humpty dumpty nursery rhymes on YouTube! Nothing really going on right now, I have a followup appointment tomorrow to find out what "they" found out about my samples that I gave and that they took. I will update more tomorrow if there is any news about my colitis condition. Until then, have a great time and enjoy some fresh new cuteness from the boyz:

We got out of town and headed to Richmond to visit a couple of Kelly's friends from back in the day. We had a really good time just hanging out on Friday and eating dinner.


Saturday was even better with a trip to the Richmond Children's Musuem:


We also took the boys to feed ducks, Noah had never been that close to one, and actually fed one from his hand! He was a little scared after that but stayed strong!


We are taking our van in today to get the timing belt and water pump changed along with a few other tweaks to the car to keep it running tip top. That's about it for now, check back later for more cute pics and maybe some new videos!

We are finally getting away, for the weekend at least. We are going to be taking a trip to Kelly's old friend Peter's house, up in Richmond, VA. Not too bad of a drive but should be good to get away from the house and do a little bit of different stuff with new people. We don't have a bunch planned but I am sure that we will figure something out. Be sure to check back this weekend for updates and pictures!

We had such a good weekend this past weekend. Saturday, Noah got to play all day with his little friend Morgan, riding trikes, playing in the dirt and just running around like a wild man...


We even had time to make an apple pie from scratch, it was too hard, we will just need more dough next time, here is the finished product...
