Early Bird Catches The Worm

By Jonathan Wyatt     On 24 May 2010     At 2:56 AM

Ok, so it is not that I am up early, it is that I am up late ;o)

I am currently on a code roll for work, sucks to have to get up and come into work so early, but it is nice to be hear when there is hardly anyone else here.

We had a great weekend as usual, Saturday we went to the park with Grandma and then proceeded to go to the Carolina Fiber Festival right after that. It was a nice time spending it with Grandma and Grandpa, got to see a petting zoo with goats, camels, and a kangaroo!

Sunday was a bit more chill, we basically stayed home most of the day and played.

Fun Filled Weekend

By Jonathan Wyatt     On 17 May 2010     At 11:22 AM

Another weekend, another busy schedule, on Saturday morning we went to Page Farms in Raleigh. We got there about 8:30am for some good pickin' and fun for the kids

After getting the strawberries, we all went back to Sheri's House to make jam. We then proceeded to Kelly's brothers house for his birthday party...

Not much planned for this week, right now just working and waiting to hear about the status of our loan. Please pray that all goes well for us, it is very nerve-racking right now...

Busy Weekend

By Jonathan Wyatt     On 10 May 2010     At 3:33 PM

We had a pretty busy weekend this past weekend, Saturday we decided to go to Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, NC, which is about 2 hours away from Cary. We had a great time and Noah loved seeing the animals up close and in person.

Sunday was equally as busy, with it being Mother's day and all, we got up early and went out to Occoneechee Mountain in Durham for a hike with the boys, it was a little chilly but not too cold to keep us away. On our way there we just so happen pass this house that had a huge, I mean enourmous, rocking chair, we had to stop and get a picture...

We had a great time hiking the mountain and got to see a great view from the top...

Hands of Hope Walk in FQ-V

By Kelly E. Murphy     On      At 9:21 PM

We met up with my friend Karen and her family to support the Hands of Hope Walk in Fuquay-Varina NC.
Hands of Hope is a pro-life organization that helps ladies with unexpected pregnancies.
It was well organized and the kids had a great time! There were 50yard dashes for the kids broken up in to age groups. Noah was ready to run til the bullhorn blew! That totally freaked him out! :) poor lil guy!
Then everyone walked 1 mile  - around the track - worked out to 3 times around. Noah ran most of it with Lilly and Sammie. Emma was a great help with Ezra! She is definitely gonna be on my list of upcoming babysitters. She is only 12 right now so maybe in a few years! :) :) All of whom are Karen's grandbabies. It was great to see the kids play together.
I met Karen at the beer company we both worked at in 2001. She has been a dear friend, one who has guided and inspired me with her beautiful Christian wisdom. She has been on her own journey and me on mine - intertwined and learning together. I love her dearly!
